bacc in HS i had a homie, dude legit had god givin talent. and i never use that phrase but homie could throw a football across da whole gym n hit a stamp wit literally no effort at all. I remember seeing him throw a football jus fuccin around and lookn like and im not even a football fan. I always told him he shoulda played for the school.

Dude ended up dropping out later that year and is probably in jail now

I've encountered more people with mediocre gifts trying to make it than those with crazy natural gifts. Bunch of fools wanting to write novels when they couldn't string a sentence together and those who could had some overly pretentious narration style.

That said, there was a kid in school who was damn good at math with barely no effort. Calculus in high school, winning competitions, etc. He wasted it by flunking other subjects though.
