I'm trying to move out of my apartment, but yeah I don't have time to clean my apartment when I move out. I'm already moving myself without a moving company, so I just don't have to time clean it. It's not filthy, but it's not spotless. And I want my security deposit back :skip::pachaha:

Have ya'll ever paid for cleaning services for your home/apartment?
And if you did... did they do a good job?

yes when i've moved out i've paid someone to do the cleaning before.

ask around to make sure they're good though. one company i had do it once which was owned by some old couple did a great job, i think they retired tho because i couldn't find a way to contact them the last time i moved. i had some new people do it most recently and i thought the job they did was mid, especially for the price.

At my place, the building didn’t have heat for almost 2 months. Landlord finally got the boiler fixed last week.

When I first moved in, he said that the security deposit isn’t returned when you move out.

When I do eventually move out, I’m not going to pay the last month’s rent.

I use them like 3 or 4 times a year and definitely for moving out. Like the poster above said make sure you vet them. I hired some people to clean my old apartment when I was moving out and they ended up breaking the cabinet door in the kitchen and the soap holder in the bathtub. I couldn't understand how that happened but it did.

What does vet them mean

Only once, when i was overseas for a while and my parents were going to lve in my place while theirs got renovated. I really don't like people up in my house. I tend to keep it clean so it doesn't take much time to do it myself.
