There's a lot of online based courses to improving your skills and crafts in all sorts of disciplines. I just believe if you are a poor student you maybe wasting your time on those online learning platforms but I am still willing to part with some cash and level up in two fields. Intermediate and Professional Oil Painting and then want to brush up on some caricature courses lol. I am solid with linework but want to do more "celebrity" like works. I got like 5 weeks off.

Anyway let me know what the best joints are out there or perhaps I am right that unless given immediate incentives a poor student is a poor student?

Left an illustration of Nas, Howard Wolowitz and just some character work :

Let me add this too in case someone is up on these learning hacks.

I am trying to do the best canvases I can do and I am limited at the basics I utilize during oil painting and pastels. You have to be honest with yourself and all these group shows or here and there is not cutting it and that's because I am no Michael Armitage, Riley Holloway, Anthony Micaleff and them. So the only way is to improve my basics to a professional level then I could really create.

I went through the check list of things holding back my prosperity in that field and it is :

- compositions
- figure work
- finer brush work

Through the years I have had some hits and some misses mostly misses and I figured out I have no supreme ability in those 3 fields above. So I started from scratch and improving my line work I would like to draw accurate illustrations of major figures to help my story telling on the canvas. So I was looking at caricature courses or portrait courses as well as the Intermediate/Professional Oil Painting.

I have 5 weeks and trying to double up levels with the skillsets at the moment. So hopefully come winter I can start doing a new collection. I added a painting from my last collection and some improved sketches I have been honing in on. I want to book some classes while I have the time anyway still reading some reviews of these mediums of learning.
