But they ain't trying to hear from us unless they can profit off a black person getting riddled with bullets by the police

Do not confuse Hispanics/Latinos (Puerto Ricans) for Chicanos (Mexicans)... Very different in all aspects.

Don't forget Cubans.

Puerto Ricans and Dominicans tend to be democratic. Cubans and damn near all of Central America lean conservative. Not necessarily vote republican, but lean conservative as hell.

Puerto Rico is lead by conservatives right now. Even though they're "democrats". They're all conservative or former republicans. Read beyond the headlines.

Puerto Rico is lead by conservatives right now. Even though they're "democrats". They're all conservative or former republicans. Read beyond the headlines.

Yeah but there is a lot of protests and political upheaval in Puerto Rico over them conservatives in office. But normally Puerto ricans vote democratically on a higher level than any Latin group. They vote democratic in the US like 70 to 80 plus percent.

This makes zero sense. Even if Hispanics voted 100% for dems, black voters would still have voted democrats as we’ve had for decades.if we can’t threaten to go republican we can use our turnout as a bargaining chip

If anything this actually strengthens the hands of black voters. We are the only voting demographic that’s loyal to the democrats. They can no longer count on Hispanics or Asians or whites.

What we need is a powerful leader/leaders who can take our collective votes and use it as a bargaining power to gain more concessions for the black community and tell the democrats our turnouts will be reliant on these concessions being delivered or we won’t turn out. Lack of black turnout means automatic loss for them.
