i had 8 to 4:30 when i first got this job and was training for it. that was awesome but i like my new schedule better. starting in a week or 2 i will be working 6am to 5pm monday thru wednesday, 6am to 12pm on thursdays, and i will have 3 days off 
even tho those long shifts on monday thru wednesday suck balls, i work half a day on thursdays and have 3 days off. i cant wait to start

if you live somewhere like me where rush hour traffic is hell on earth, working a little later or earlier is definitely
working 8-5/8-4/9-5 is horrible in those instances.
my old job was all the way in the suburbs, and I worked regular hours. if I took the train, it was 90 minutes each way or about 1 hr 15 minutes if I drove it. fukking terrible.
