Havnt played a Wii-U game... I can already say Microsoft/Sony needs to copy lol

Playing with my sons wii-u...Being able to control the TV/cable box/wii-u all from the controller is amazing...havnt explored everything you can do because I'm just now setting things up but the potential here is pretty scary.

Pick up the controller...turn on the wii-u...play a game...hit the TV button and it switches input while screen becomes a interface...watch TV.....

*dream starts*

....hit split screen mode on the controller...movie shows on the controller while the game displays on the TV....schedule recordings on controller...turn off game...take controller in the other room and watch recorded show.....

....man I wish this was a real next gen system graphically...they would've KILLED.

MS is already copying with Smartglass, and Sony is already doing stuff with the Vita/PS3 controls, so meh...

You can already control all of that plus more with just about any smartphone

I dont know about $600

IMO that's the main reason M$ won this gen is because Sony came out the gate with those ridiculous prices

My son is 6...he don't care about graphics that much...I have a 360 and he stays on his DS not even thinking about 360...I'm sure wii-u will be the same...they make games that catch their attention way more than a Xbox and ps3 will.

Smart glass is cool but as of right now its not where the wii-u is in terms of function...I can't grab my phone and switch the inputs on my tv..can't turn on my Xbox..can't turn on the TV...can't cycle through the TV guide..etc etc...the wii-u controller does all this without touching anything on the TV/box/or wii-u...its very dope.

If the actual graphics were next gen I would've copped.....maybe :-/.

I said I was playing with the Wii u...as in setting it up for him. I haven't played a actual game until today. I was just impressed with how you can control literally everything from the controller with minimal work.
