What You Will Never Be.
fukking :mark: trying to breakdown pops :mjlol:

you think Taker/Austin/HBGOAT were going home that night crying about the weak ass crowds? It's just another paycheck for these retired nikkas at this point to boost these trash ratings

HBGOAT was having fun out there keeping the crowd engaged while everyone else was putting them to sleep after the little "pop" at the start

But this is your thread, so to quote the great James E. Cornette: "WHO's the mark(s)?"

I've said it before, having a GOAT in pro wrestling is the dumbest, oxymoronic shyt ever.

At least baseball acknowledges how stupid it is to call "Babe" Ruth the greatest when he never had to deal with no nikkas.

Updated Numbers Confirm WWE's WrestleMania 28 Was Biggest Wrestling Pay-Per-View Of All-Time - WrestlingInc.com

WWE's WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view did end up being the single most purchased pro wrestling pay-per-view event in history, based on new data that are likely the final numbers for the event.

These updated numbers include late recorded buys and have WrestleMania 28 doing 1,253,000 buys - 733,000 domestic and 520,000 internationally. The international number would beat the all-time record by a significant amount. There have been several events over the years that have topped the domestic number.

The 1,253,000 buys for WrestleMania 28 beats out the 1,250,000 buys for WrestleMania 23 in 2007 with Donald Trump. Technically, when it's all said and done WWE is able to round up to 1.3 million buys and claim the biggest pay-per-view of all-time.

What is it with Kliq groupies not doing proper research? :beli:
I wasn't tryna say it was the biggest Mania ever (even though it was at the time) I was just proving that he was wrong when he said HBK wasn't a draw. Just because it was only the 2nd biggest selling Mania of all time and not the biggest doesn't change a thing :sas1:

Love Shawn and he's quite possibly the best in ring performer but impact wise he wasn't in the mania 30 ring with Hogan Austin and the Rock...because he wasn't on their level

He didn't let Steve Austin go over..what the hell are you talking about? DAMN SURE didn't let the Undertaker go over in any instance since he was a top guy long before Shawn was ever pushed in the midcard. Batista and Blandy aren't legends and Angle and him traded wins.

His legacy is this..he was pushed as the top guy during the Monday Night Wars start and failed and then Austin and company bailed the company out. He was worst than anything you have ever said about the Miz or Seth and the company knew it which is why they went pro Austin after WM 13.

Your timing is way off Austin didn't just defeat Nitro as soon as he was pushed as the top guy took almost a year and a half of time Warner Aol ruining WCW with multiple NWOs and guys like Hogan not around...shyt the day raw finally went on top Mick Foley was champ and that was Eric Bischoffs fault for spoiling it at the start of Nitro

You can't knock Shawn for not being able to draw against all these past titan talents creating a historical faction and storyline that was never seen before ...it was more NWO than WWF being stale

WHAT? Nah...two weeks after WM 14, the ratings flipped and Raw took the lead and never looked back. You're talking about WCW self destructing in your description...that's not ratings related. All these years you thought Raw only beat WCW in 1999 after the Foley title win? WTF. LOL. No that was them winning that ratings segment..not the turn around. Foley was nowhere NEAR that important...Austin and Tyson is how everything flipped.

I can knock Shawn for not drawing because he was pushed as the top guy and flopped. WTF..it "was more Nwo than WWF". Whatever, man. The Nwo had the interest of the fans at the time and they ran Shawn out of contention and the fans were sick of him by November 96 and cheering for Sid Vicious. Austin gets on top and they start to blow away the Nwo and eventually Goldberg. That's the difference between Shawn Michaels and Austin..one was pushed to the top as a legit failure while the other basically saved the WWF from losing the Monday Night War that Bischoff had a grip on at the time.

WrestleMania 27 had numbers similar to WrestleMania 23. Guess who was in the main event?
