Me and my wife still loved it tho, and we never gave up on naz, unlike his momma.

But it sucks tho cuz naz is headed down a path now...

What I still don't get is how they never question why naz wasn't covered in blood that night. Neither was his inhaler in the photo....and from the time he left till the time he got picked up, he didn't have enough time to clean off that much blood. There would have been blood all over him and his clothes when they collected his shyt for evidence
Tunnel vision. Naz was the killer from episode one, on.

The detective went to the DA with evidence that logically exonerates Naz and she ignored it.

Damn what is up with you guys does every fukking thing have to be laid out for you to understand? connect the dots shyt

Nas ain't do that shyt that was the fukking point jeez:palm:

People wanted to see the murder in a flashback :mjlol:

The cd Freddy got from the CO can be only be surveillance from Rikers, cause when Nas and the lawyer kissed, that was surveillance from the courthouse cells. Two different facilities.

So I'm wondering what was on the cd Freddy had?

Freddie is probably connected to the guards at the courthouse. One of them saw the footage, told a guard at Rikers, he told Freddie, the guard asked for the CD, gave it to Freddie, and he had someone send it to Stone.

Is the prosecutor a woman? That jaw, the hair looks like a wig, and her hands are huge. If that's not a man she's the victim of horrible genetics :scust:

I don't think the show was pointless at all. It shows how fukked up the system is. He might as well be guilty with ways things are now in his home and his community.

I thought the show was fantastic for just 8 episodes.
if i told you after episode 1 that he'd be acquitted, you'd basically know how the community would react to him. that's common sense. therefore, i stand by the opinion this show was ultimately pointless. poorly paced, stupid in many places, inaccurate in many places, and utterly pointless.

We spent literally 45 minutes of screen time on Stone's feet across 8 episodes for the wrap up to be "Hey, i know what it's like to be looked at funny." and to show it probably flares up from his stressful profession. rinse/repeat, his life sucks, on to the next one... that was the wrap up for all of that time we spent look at his feet.

they introduced some dude in like episode 5 or 6 and showed him all of 4 times and there's your killer. We knew the whole time it "wasn't about that," but that was still chintsy. To be fair though, i stopped giving a shyt who killed her and was hoping it was Naz just so it was something. None of the red herrings they presented on the show ever felt remotely possible. And it took a convenient wrap up by all of a sudden Super Cop Box to nail this guy in the last episode.

As I said, this show was like the least entertaining episode of Oz mixed with a midseason boring ass generic Law and Order episode. pointless.

Why did Michael K Williams take this role? "You'll sit in a cell the whole time and just talk in some monotone voice , saying generic shyt about how prison changes a man, then you can throw a few girly punches at a heavy bag and cut a dude's throat. You're a shoe-in for an Emmy!!!"

The things that were bad about the show didn't drag it down too much for me. The Chandra kiss was stupid and they could've done better showing a sense of time passing while Nas was at Rikers...that way when he's getting tatted and swallowing dope it's not as jarring. The courtroom scenes were hit and miss but when they hit (Dr. Katz, last night with the DA poking holes in Nas story, Stone's closing argument) they worked well.

Everyone wants the show that's always clever and hyper-realistic from episode to episode but you can't let the criticisms step all over the positives. I think some of you are holding on to what you don't like so much that it didn't allow you to enjoy any aspects of the show.

The fukked up thing, if Naz gets convicted, I don't think the DA goes after Ray, even though there was enough evidence to show he probably did it.

And Box was too much of a company man to let the people that really needed this info know. He could huff and puff, leave the courtroom loudly, but he had Naz' attorney damn near begging for info and Box gave him nothing. He was content working his security job while an innocent man was a day away from possibly being sentenced to death.

:pacspit: the both of them
