Protect Ya Neck was dope but I never really understood the hype of Wu Tang in general

And I also find current hip hop more appealing

you don't like the mountain climber "hip hop" then don't listen :yeshrug: i don't really know what you're talking about tho because the popular rappers aren't all Mackelmore types.

Wacky...listen to ' life of a drug dealer' off words from the genius today and let me know what you think of it.

It's one of the best joints I've ever heard. I had that album in real time and loved it. I even like 'come do me'. What's funny is Rae & Dirty are in that video dressed as painters carrying a ladder.

is this what has become of us?

by the way, whos your a&r?
a mountain climber that plays the electric guitar?

There's probably more ex-rappers and "real" Hip Hop heads working the corporate side of Hip Hop now than in the 90's. What makes that line so dope (tragic) is that it still applies today.

dope.

lol. even tho I clown him for it, I liked "come do me". I was a fan of those early '90s booty-call dance raps in general.

but I have a question: lyrically, where do you rank genius amongst the '91 rap collective? I never heard the tape.
