My boy rented a house for roughly 2 years. After he moved out because the owner decided to sell, owner tried to say he wanted 3-5000 for damages. To paint the walls, redo the wood flooring, clean carpets and a bunch of other shyt.

My boy was panicking, I read the email the owner sent and I wrote back very professionally (it could've went to court) to sum up the response "Sure, I'll pay what I owe. Name the companies or contractors and provide me an itemized list of estimates and services." Dude never responded.
