There warranty is also great. I wear mine at the gym for one year now and no issues at all
I've had the m50s for yeas and those things take a pounding. I've carrying them in my backpack before I got the case, and they never broke. Still the same as when I bought them. The only thing that I have to replace is the ear muffs and headband as sweat has harmed them. You can buy those off amazon. They still sound teh same as when I bought them. When you listen to those, you hear things in songs for the first time that you've listened to for decades. The thing with the Audio technicas is that you can get a cheap pair like the m30s and they are still better than most high priced other brands. The only other headphones I love on the level of Audio Technicas are the AKG Q701. I got a discount and bought a pair of those years ago as well and they are great sturdy pieces. I have a few headphones and those are my top 2 favs. I'm sure he m70s are probably better than the m50s so I'd like to try them one day

The M70X is awesome. They are bassy as fukk with pure crystal clear clarity.

They are the best headphones that I've personally ever bought or heard music through.

The layers for detail on a well produced album with these headphones is like the sweetest joy next to gettin' p*ssy. Picture paragraphs unloaded, wise words bein' quoted with a dope beat underneath.

You can always return them if you don't agree but I've turned so many people on to them.

On top of it being bassy it doesn't colour songs so everything sounds as it's supposed to.

It's your money, but imo mine was well spent.

It’s all really suvjective cause people are looking for different things. At the end of the day, as long as it sounds good is all that matters. But in general, people prefer casual listening headphones over mixing headphones. The studio headphones are designed to be flatter cause the purpose of using them is listen in a very detailed way. Kind of like a tool for a technician. That’s why the bass is flatter than casual listening headphones. The M in audio technicas M line of headphones literally stands for Monitoring. That said, the only thing that maters is what sounds good to you. And like you said, you can always take them back.
