I say "Heaven'z Movie"

That stayed truer to Bizzy as an artist than Krayzie's did

Krayzie collabed with a lot of unexpected artists on '"Thug Mentality 1999" plus it was a double disc so had variety BUT it was so far and away from the Bone sound because of it

"Heaven'z Movie" was really only missing 'Confessions' with 'Pac and the full versions of Johnny "J" beats e.g. Yes, Yes Y'all otherwise its a classic

on one hand, bizzy's album was incomplete, while krayzie's was overdone.

subjectively, I played krayzie's album way more cuz most of the better songs between the two albums were krayzie joints.
but objectively speaking, with a 38 track LP comes a ton of filler. and when the comparison is close, the albums with the most filler tend to lose the battle.

plus, there was way too much experimentation on the krayzie album. and naw, my gripe isn't with most of the outsider collabos. that was a selling point for me actually.

but yea, i'd give the slight edge to bizzy bone's snippet album.

To me they were both underwhelming....after the wack "Art of War"(it had some heat, but not nearly enough) album this was basically it for my "being a Bone" fan days

:dwillhuh:

Can't pick. Nope, can't do it.

But I will say that I want the full version of Yes Yall....oh, he was killing that. :banderas:

On another note of a lost Bizzy song, I've been trying to find this song since the album/DVD dropped (yeah, this was a day one cop too).

Willacoochee, Ga
Def Heavenz Movie because that whole album rides.

Thug Mentality is a great memory for me just off the cover alone..Plus the Thug Mentality video and just my overall anticipation to cop that double cd as a teenager. Even heard Thug Mentality at a school dance back in the day and acted like i knew all the words :pachaha:

But even back then I didnt really like the whole album....I would only really want to listen to a few tracks off the entire double disc... Paper...Heated Heavy...Thugs All Over The World...maybe like 3 or 4 other joints and thats it..

Lets not even get started on that Knight Reiderz or whatever the fukk that shyt was :lolbron:
