Does anyone have this game? I know the majority of y’all always say you’re tired of WW2 in COD & Battlefield but I cant get enough of WW2 games. The game only contains the Western & Eastern fronts (European battles) of WW2. Hopefully they’ll decide to patch in some Pacific front levels.

This looks like the most realistic WW2 game besides Arma.

I liked it. If you’re looking for a modern version of this, that’s easy to get into, skip Arma and pick up “Squad”. The logistics and leadership aspect makes the matches crazy but it’s very entertaining to watch or play.

I got this when it was free on PSN, really good game and I HATE shooters. I like playing as recon and sneaking around sabotaging.
The only negative for me is sometimes getting stuck on bad squads, or with squad leaders that don't set up outposts.

It has some vague similarities to Battlefield. Not sure what you mean by free roam though. It's an FPS milsim

So am I on a pre determined path where I have to turn or move along as the game directs me? In Red Dead I could roam and get into random trouble and do crazy stuff and bother the locals.

You can walk around the entirety of whichever map you're playing on. Same as Call of Duty or Battlefield

It’s what battlefield would have been if they weren’t owned by EA. You won’t be very successful if you run around trying to shoot. You have to really work with and communicate with team mates to suppress and flank the opposing team. you also have to use the terrain and structures. It also has more gore.
