Not just 60fps but also 12bit color, which to me is one of the biggest draws of 4k. It also allows for 32 channels of uncompressed audio. When 4k is mainstream it'll be a significant upgrade with the right hardware.Does your TV even support 4k streaming? it may not....You should of got the samsung 4K media player....To my knowledge all content is upscaled to 4K regardless of the source.
FYI you don't need hdmi 2.0 to play 4K but you do need it to play 4K @ 60FPS
I think my laptop can handle downloaded 4K movies and shyt but idk what to look for in the title to know its 4K (i get all my shyt through torrents, 4K movies would be bout 25-30GB right?). You know how shyt either says either 1080p, 720p, BluRay Rip, BluRay, ect. What does it say for 4K?
Yeah, I know that, that's why I said "can handle downloaded 4k movies" meaning that im not exactly sure if they can play them. If I am downloading some movies though, what would I look for in the title to know for sure its 4k quality? I already know the file would be big as fukk, but "Full" BluRay's are already around 21-25GB.Any laptop can download 4K clips. Playing them is another matter.
Not many people have 4K so there will not be much in terms of movies and files available
