But on a serious note, I would def look into an internship or even going to a trade school to further your ability.
You only 18 so time is on your side
If money the issue at the moment, look into a part time job. Reason i say part time, cause plenty of dudes your age end up working somewhere, get comfortable, then next thing you know you 30 still working at Walmart.....You want your son to see that?

U could get a quick lil part time gig n apply for college and get them grants with a Stafford loan, with that $100 n change payments/month and u got ur own car, crib, and school all paid for. Once u get that cert, u can knock that loan off easily. But with IT, certs will get u in the door but degrees are what gets u into supervisory positions. And don't buy into that I don't want no debt bullshyt. When ur ass wants to start ur own business, ur gonna go into debt. The only way u get anything is thru debt. The key is managing ur debt and acquiring debt purposefully rather than racking up shyt just to make ends meet. For example, u use ur Stafford loan to buy a car outright instead of making a down payment. U don't use debt to acquire more debt, that's how nikkaz end up on that janky Birdman wave. When u get them certs, you'll have mfkn boatloads to stunt with, but u have to put in the work n have a plan. And internship is important for connections n references when u get ready to start ur own business, cuz first u need references for the banks when u go for the loan, then u need nikkaz for clientele.
