Brehs, I am looking to buy a good affordable laptop. Budget of around $500. Give or take.

Uses:

1) Mainly for school work (Typing up papers, research, homework, etc) 95%

2) Light web browsing, listening to music, Facebook, etc. 5%

I want something that is fast. Not too fancy but, also not a piece of shyt. Preferably 15 or 17 inch.

What brands are the best? And in what order?
