I’d say try to lose 10 pounds by Christmas max. You need to work on the lifestyle change, not drop pounds quick. Many do that and just put on more then they lose later.

2 pounds per week is a good goal to shoot for.

He said 20 by Christmas give him advice to do exactly that or shut the fukk up

These threads are always hilarious, why do you some you insist on giving stupid advice? The man is not losing 20lbs of fat by Christmas end of story
To be fair, a lot of comments in here have told him that's not feasible. Maybe even the majority.

Lean beef...steaks, water, greens. Salads. Cardio..exercise bike..running is too stagnant unless you're into it...bikes are more jovial and entertaining for the mindscape.

I'm trying to lose weight myself, had gotten down to like 185, before shyt happened and I jumped back up to 260-270.

Currently 224 and shooting for 215 by end of the year.

Best advice I can give is keep all your meals simple: protein, green, and a carb like potatoes or rice. Also try to use as few ingredients as possible for shyt, more you add, more calories come into play.

Exercise wise, do 15-20 minutes of cardio 4-5 days a week, you don't have to go all out or go for crazy times, just make the 10-20 minutes count.

I don't know if you lift or into weightlifting like that, but 2-3 days of lifting can go a long way to helping turn some of the fat into muscle and just giving a better overall look.

I can give you an example of what I do for my workout if you want :yeshrug:

Even if you lose 20 pounds that quickly, chances are you’ll still be flabby because you don’t lift weights.

:francis:

So you’ll lose the weight and won’t have any muscles underneath and be out here looking sick.

:francis:

Be disciplined and start lifting weights 2 days a week and doing cardio 2 days a week. Once you’ve got that down without missing days, just increase the weight and time you do cardio. Once you’ve have that down, add a day to each and make it 6 days a week.

I couldn’t imagine living in Louisiana and trying to be healthy. I grew up down there and most of my relatives look like they’re in poor health even when they aren’t fat.

:manny:

Ain’t shyt to do down there besides eat and duck the heat.

Thanks Fellas, i really appreciate the advice and motivation. So far so good. I've drank around 100oz today so far. Been hitting push ups and body squat in the office. About to go home and hit the punch bag a while and do boxing drills.

After many of your statements, losing 20lbs by Xmas isn't my goal now, just being on the right track is whether it's 10lb or 15lb. I want to build a healthier lifestyle. Being overweight has really hindered my lifestyle. I'm shy now. I'm not as outgoing and funny as my friends and family are use to. Time for the old me to return.

Off to get some healthy stuff:

Almonds
Tuna Steaks and other fish
Chicken breast
Saltless Seasonings
cucumbers
kales
veggies

What else I should I get?
Already cooked shrimp is a great way to get a ton of protein with little calories.

1 bag of pre cooked shrimp can have 60-80 grams of protein and only 270-300 calories depending on weight.

Oh yeah, doing a water fast once a week helps as well.

It was either @xXMASHERXx or @Roid Jones who put onto water fasting like a month or 2 ago, I've dropped a decent amount of weight doing it once a week.

I'd recommend doing it on a day you're not working, so you can start it right as you sleep or a lil beforehand and do it til the following evening.

Start with a 48 hour fast.

Make sure to eat something light afterwards

HIIT
Boxing
Swimming
AND weightlifting

Don't be scary.

Forget the gym, focus on diet and no drinking.

Meal prep. And stick to those meals. You’ll probably lose weight from that alone. Caloric deficit is the only answer.

came in here to say this..

its simple, just stop eating as much and kill the sugar intake.

i workout regularly and i can tell you from experience, when a nikka cut back on eating the fat falls right off..
