To the average person?? I got a homeboy who just lost out on a GS9 IRS position because of this shyt, and I am trying to figure out in my head WHY it was so imperative that remote work was deaded 
Help me understand why remote work is a detriment?

There is residual economic benefits to people going to work. Offices get leased, lunch is bought, transportation is used and office supplies are purchased. People working from home decreases all that.
Control, that's it. The work got done regardless so it's not a production issue
The messed up part about it is potentially losing the ability to telework. Feds had those options before covid. Most have been hybrid for years

It isn't. Employers save beaucoup money on overhead if staff work from home. Employees save beaucoup money by not commuting and spending on lunch, gas, etc.

It’s not these companies want to feel like they are kings lording over serfs so they need you in the office.
The only potentially valid argument is company culture is eroded, but Lowkey if the company isn’t actually investing in company culture by doing events and things like retreats then they are full of shyt, and also you can still do that through a hybrid work model which allows people to have work life balance and go to the office once or twice a week.

This is what happens when you vote in a dictator. They will try to impose their will on whatever freedoms the people have, changed everything that makes their lives more comfortable, and whatever the bottom line ends up being the best for oligarchs…
But all the data suggests that working from home makes businesses more productive, commutes better, quality of life better for workers better, etc… even the planet gets better with less cars on the roads
And I will say this.. I rarely work from home. I don’t think I could ever not work in an office. But this is about power and control… nothing more nothing less. Trump shouldn’t even be concerned with what businesses and agencies do with the personnel THEY hire.
Edit: Not saying that Trump is a dictator yet… but just like the guy he looks up to Hitler, it looks sketchy. Making up problems only to claim it’s a detriment and that he alone will solve it. It’s bullshyt

Remote work is good.
They want to sen you back to the office for numerous bad reasons: control, real estate value, consumung fuels, car, etc.

It isn't beneficial at all.......the little progress workers have made needs to be clawed back by any means now........it started with all the tech hirings.....it wasnt about over hiring or bloated salaries it was about reigning in those progressions.......now they think they can do the same thing federally
