Whats good fam. I'm moving away from the hood after a year and ending a relationship. Getting a two bdrm townhouse close to work in a great area and will be there after next week.

The first thing I wanna do before hanging decor up is to paint the living room. I've got the color:

But I need an idea of which walls to paint without going overboard. Heres the living room:

Villas%20of%20South%20Cobb%20II%20-04.jpg

I'm thinking about the small wall in the 1st pic and the wall in the 3rd pic (with the door) and maybe the dining room wall (in the 3rd pic in the back).

I don't want it to be too much. What yall think? :ld:

i like that color, but i would only use bright colors for a room only.

i do agree that the white needs to go in most of the house. u seem to have good lighting around the house. id balance it out with earth tone colors such as brown or green.

What style are you going for? Modern, Contemporary, Tribal/ African, etc. Post pictures.
For example:
African/ Tribal

Modern

Contemporary

Sorry about the images being large. I don't know how to resize them in the text box. :yeshrug:

Ok so it sounds like you're looking to create an accent wall. Your accent wall would normally be your focal point for a room. For example, if you want to add wall decor to that specific wall and/or set the couch up against that wall, you would highlight that wall with your paint color. For example,

This wall, highlighted by the orange, draws the viewers eyes to the decoration on the wall as well as the couch which invites them to sit down. Therefore, you could consider painting the wall diagonal from the door on the left in the second picture and placing a television etc. on that wall and grouping the furniture around the television/entertainment center. If you plan on turning this area into a sitting room without an entertainment area and creating some separate den/ tv room, then you could place the couch up against that wall with some wall decor behind it. For your dining area, same thing. You could set a dining credenza and/or dining room decor up against your accent wall in this area. For example,

:leon: Damn good lookin out! I figured having the tv behind the accent wall would be best.
