What are the advantages and disadvantages of tying an executive’s pay to the company’s performance?


How much input would you give company employees in making a decision on executive pay?

i didn't really pay attention in class. he gave 10 questions but im stuck on answering these 2. can ya please help me :to:

Disadvantage is that performance can be manipulated in the short term by cutting labor costs or long term investments which can actually hurt the long term performance of the company.

Executives may have an added incentive to cook books to hide losses or over estimate earnings(Enron)
