Help with USB mp3 songs

i have a 18 dodge journey and it only plays songs from albums, not songs i download from youtube. is it a format problem or what? like if i download a whole album,itll play those songs but from sites like youtube to mp3 it wont. i got rep for help

Download vlc media player & conver the files to mp4 & it should play on anything

Buy a new player or research what types of files it can play & then convert the music to that format with vlc
