Years ago, I vowed to never do it again. Too much work and you're almost always being taken advantage of.
....until 2 weeks ago....It only consisted of unloading the stuff off the truck into a storage unit. Sprained by wrist and I'm still feeling the effects of it.
But clearing out someone's crib and/or moving it into another one?
One time, my boss gave us all the day off (about 5-6 of us) to help him move. I was like
...I'll just knock this out real quick and have the rest of the day to chill. It took up the entire day and then some. I would been much better off going to work. Plus, his place looked like the set of Sanford and Son, and hardly anything was packed.
I get asked by people (including family) every now and then....and my response is
