Walk-up songs for every prospect at 2014 NFL Draft - NFL.com

lol ok blake bortles.

Odell Beckham Jr.

" The Sky's The Limit" - Lil Wayne
Ely's take: I like that he went local, and this should only help Lil Wayne's resurgence. Bonus points for having "Young Money, Cash Money" in Line 2.

Blake Bortles

"Blow Up" - J. Cole

Ely's take: Partial to J. Cole as he's also from North Carolina. If Bortles is a bust, though, this will sting.

Teddy Bridgewater

"The World's Greatest" - R. Kelly

Ely's take: LOVE THIS. Big statement from Bridgewater, who doesn't normally flash bravado.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

"Never Would Have Made It" - Marvin Sapp

Ely's take: The message is nice, I guess, but a little over the top. We get that you never would have made it, Ha Ha. Would be better if he brought an choir on stage.

Jadeveon Clowney

"The Man" - Aloe Blacc

Note: This is the same song from that weird Colin Kaepernick commercial where crazed fans are attacking his team bus.

Ely's take: Maybe the worst choice on the board. Unless he has a deal with Beats coming up, two thumbs down.

Brandin Cooks and Ryan Shazier

" Everythang" - Young Jeezy
Sample lyric: "I used to have nothin'/ but now I got a whole lot of everythang / and I come through stuntin'/ and now the whole world gon' know/ my name"

Ely's take: Money should be the theme of any draft song. Young Jeezy gets it, so does Brandin Cooks. Now the whole world will know his name.

Kony Ealy

"Money Baby" - K Camp

Ely's take: Ealy gets props for the money theme, but his song is too patient. You don't have a lot of time to get on stage, have song throw fire off the jump.

Eric Ebron

"They Don't Love You No More" - DJ Khaled

Ely's take: I don't really get it. He's getting drafted. HE JUST GOT ENGAGED. Who isn't that don't love you no more, Eric?

Mike Evans

"Trophies" - Young Money feat. Drake

Ely's take: Any horn intro works for me. You want a song with a presence and Evans nails it. To quote Young Money, a draft song is "not a love song."

Kyle Fuller and Ra'Shede Hageman

"We Made It" - Drake feat. Soulja Boy

Ely's take: Doesn't really do much for me. Slow and takes 50 seconds to build.

Jimmy Garoppolo

"Good Life" - Kanye West feat. T-Pain

Ely's take: Underrated song from an underrated Kanye album. Garoppolo went local like Beckham, so he shows a little personal flair with his choice.

Justin Gilbert

"We Dem Boyz" - Wiz Khalifa

Ely's take: If Gilbert goes to the CB-needy Steelers, then he should audible for "Black and Yellow."

Cyrus Kouandjio

"Radioactive" - Imagine Dragons

Ely's take: Odd choice considering his pre-draft questions.

Cody Latimer

"Everyday" - Ace Hood

Ely's take: When you're likely to go in the second round, the pressures on to bring it. Strong choice.

Marqise Lee

"Handsome & Wealthy" - Migos

Ely's take: Lee rocked a chain during his combine 40. He was living handome and wealthy pre-draft. Love the bravado.

Taylor Lewan

"Rock City" - Kings Of Leon

Ely's take: Kings of Leon? Did his 15-year-old brother pick this? If you're going rock, go with Kid Rock and rep the Motor City.

Khalil Mack & Greg Robinson

"Happy" - Pharrell Williams

Ely's take: Strongly dislike this song. Most overrated pop hit of the year. We get that you're happy, Pharrell. Stop shoving it in my face.

Johnny Manziel

" Draft Day" - Drake
Sample lyric: "Draft day, Johnny Manziel, Five years later how am I the man still?"

He picks a song with his own name dropped in the first line! JFF!

Ely's take: What a strong move by Johnny. Everyone wondered if Manziel would be bold enough to play this. Troll on, Johnny. Troll on.

Jake Matthews

"Going The Distance" - Bill Conti

Ely's take: Knew someone would pick something from Rocky. Jake, you're not lifting weights. Be better than Rocky.

Jordan Matthews

"Through The Wire" - Kanye West

Ely's take: This song put Kanye on the map. Big shoes to fill for Matthews.

Morgan Moses

"Sideline Story" - J. Cole

Ely's take: Never have a song with sideline in the title. You came to play, not sit on the bench.

C.J. Mosley

"My Favorite Song" - Wiz Khalifa

Ely's take: Is this REALLY his favorite song?

Calvin Pryor

"Dreams & Nightmares" - Meek Mill

Ely's take: No beat for the first two minutes. We're partial to beats here that amp up the crowd. Not lull them to sleep.

Bradley Roby

"Believe Me" - Drake feat. Lil Wayne

Ely's take: My second favorite choice after Manziel. It's topical, but I'd feel bad for Lil Wayne if they only use the Drake part. 2014 should be the year of the Weezy.

Jason Verrett

"Icy" - Gucci Mane

Ely's take: Love it. I hope he coordinated his jewelry with this song.

Sammy Watkins

"Look What You've Done" - Drake

Ely's take: Interesting choice from Drake's best album. This is a personal choice that should provide a touching backdrop to when Watkins celebrates with his mom.
