Sounds like she is not a fan of you guys
:ohhh:

All kinds of people today call themselves "libertarians," especially something calling itself the New Right, which consists of hippies who are anarchists instead of leftist collectivists; but anarchists are collectivists. Capitalism is the one system that requires absolute objective law, yet libertarians combine capitalism and anarchism. That's worse than anything the New Left has proposed. It's a mockery of philosophy and ideology. They sling slogans and try to ride on two bandwagons. They want to be hippies, but don’t want to preach collectivism because those jobs are already taken. But anarchism is a logical outgrowth of the anti-intellectual side of collectivism. I could deal with a Marxist with a greater chance of reaching some kind of understanding, and with much greater respect. Anarchists are the scum of the intellectual world of the Left, which has given them up. So the Right picks up another leftist discard. That's the libertarian movement.[292]

I thought everyone outgrew their ayn rand phase at 16-17
Nah

A dude I knew in college was her description of a Libertarian right down to the last iota. He was a punk rock/emo kid who occasionally wore the Anarchy "A" shirt, loves guns, trucks all that shyt, hated "Liberals" and was from Macungie/Allentown, PA.

He hated "Republicans" but hated "Liberals" even more he said. Then I went to visit him in his hometown. His Mom more or less has a shrine built to Ayn Rand complete with all her works in various hardcover additions, a giant Atlas statue in the center of the room with many other Atlas knick knacks all about the room. I'm not exaggerating at all, it was like her living room was a shrine to Ayn Rand and Libertarianism.

Also over the past few years on FB, he was constantly spouting out Libertarian talking points, Cato articles, the whole nine.

And mind you, this is a guy who is half Colombian and hates to be reminded of it. He doesn't look latin at all, he looks like an out of shape flabby and sick white guy but if he spends a few days out in the sun he's as dark as me.

Dog that's the hilarity...most of his friends back home are all white and the majority of them are Republican as fukk

They were actually the ones that even pointed out to me that he's embarrassed about his mixed background and that's how I found out. They showed me a pic of him from HS when he wasn't flabby and sick and the endless nights of drinking beer and pigging out on snacks in college didn't take its toll yet.

The shyt was funny and sad at the same time...if he actually worked out and did a little cardio he'd pull madd females just of the strength of being in decent shape.

Lol this is my school district growing up (I'm 29 now). The Lehigh valley is decently diverse actually, its one of the areas where a lot of people have moved in from New York and Jersey the past 15/20 years and get the people who have lived there for more than a few generations salty.

Its decently diverse though for a small town area, sounds like your friend had an inferiority complex for whatever reason.

It is diverse...because when I did undergrad in Philly, I would meet all different types of folks from that area of different backgrounds and such.

It took me a while to really "get" PA and how it can go from big city to little pockets of towns and then...spookiness lol

And yeah I never really got that about dude...he completely embraced his whiteness but it was like he was ashamed to be half Colombian. Never wanted to be in the sun too long, never fukked with any other people from Central or South America...weird...
