On Rollins injuring John Cena’s nose: “He [Rollins] knees him the face so hard, and so recklessly, and so dangerously. He could easily kill somebody with a knee like that to the face. It’s a testimony to John Cena. A, he finished the match and b, that he didn’t get a shotgun and shoot Seth Rollins when he came through the curtain.”

On how Cena’s injury compares to Goldberg kicking him: “Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head and ended my career because he didn’t know what he was doing. You get guys that cost me millions and millions of dollars, cost me my career, probably led to my stroke, and so many things that happened all because somebody didn’t know what they were doing.”

On how good wrestlers don’t injure opponents: “The best wrestlers don’t hurt anyone for real. I wrestled 23 straight years all over the world. My greatest boast is I never wrestled one single wrestler in my career. The safety of my opponent was critical to me.”

On Rollins’ possibly ending Sting’s career faster: “[He] did things to a guy that kind of ended his career a lot faster.”

On Shane and Stephanie McMahon not understanding sports injuries: “They don’t understand that when you do these kinds of things, you can kill somebody. It may look great but you really need to think twice with what you’re doing.”

I read that an hour ago on wrestling inc. All the top comments were calling him bitter and he's spitting nonsense he's lost it.

But literally there is another article release two hours before where he said wwe does too much talking and all the comments were nothing but praises and he know what he's talking about he's Bret.

I just wanted to point out how we the iwc nitpick.

I wish Sting would've never got in the ring with Rollins. Dude kept himself in tremendous shape and still had some matches left in him.

As a Stinger mark, part of me is glad he didn't hang around until he was completely Larry like Taker, Flair, Hogan etc. He came in, looked much better than anticipated, got over immediately, appeared at Mania, main evented a PPV for the title, then called it a day and got inducted to the HOF with the GOAT classy acceptance speech. It seems appropriate to the Sting mythology that he came through (like hurricanes do), made an impact, and then vanished.

He seemingly got everything he wanted out of his WWE run, so I'm happy with that. Obviously wish he didn't get injured though.

Fukk of shytman :russell: Never see the true GOAT (Rock) bytch and moan like this, he's always putting someone over and praising them :whew:

Why is it Rollins's fault that Sting got slammed through an announce table? Did a suicide dive? Did a dive from top rope to outside of the ring? Took TWO bucklebombs?

End of the day both 56 yr old Sting and Vince agreed to all of that, so why blame Rollins? :heh:

Imo, I think they sabotaged sting and at times I feel Rollins is hhh troll inring avatar joke on the talent.
till hhh feels he can take the strap off Rollins at mania and bury the shield in legacy for the clique nwo in the wwe owns wcw lexicon.
Rollins has been in to many matches as a scrawny chicken and bones to be that careless and it makes no sense that those inuries would occur on those stages versus those opponents.
In the Bret Goldberg thing....it was obvious Goldberg was still green and someone was smart enough in the power plant to give him a good match template and finish that just immediately worked with his look to fit in and get the rocket.
So, in that instance goldberg I understand had ego, rush and inexperience to fall back on as an excuse for Bret.
With Rollins, Rollins been in there with all the best guys before at different sizes physique wise to know the dangers of what he was doing.
So, I dunno how or what to say about his carelessness besides look at the fix being in.

As Rollins really never ramped as an actual wwe guy in their whole idea of what makes a top me from the Indies plus guy.
So, with the Rollins shyt.
I feel the fix was in on cena and sting.

Shame the wwf fears what sting is cause sting would have been the addition and could have been used as a reboot quality guy.
If it ever got so bad via injury or whatever reason, that the wwe needed a shot in the arm to recover.
Just horrible mismanagement and execution on very possible level by the wwe.

Man, Hart really has it in for Rollins', who has worked his ass off. So what if he is a bit stiff, he ain't Hardcore Holly.
