He's my favorite player, but I've always hated Andrew Luck's throwing motion and arm stength

Especially in cold weather gms. The ball just doesnt jump out of his hands like it does Rodgers or even Brady. Cam, Flacco or even Prime Payton :mjcry:

For this reason, Luck is a tad overrated. He's like a better version of Matt Ryan. I would put these qbs over Luck right now

Rodgers
Brady
Ben
Romo
Brees
Peyton
Flacco(playoff version:ld:)

Luck has always been overrated. This is a well known fact to those that actually watch him. Mr. "Deer in the headlights" can't handle a good pass-rush and good defense.

Now, the ball comes out of his hand really well in the playoffs.......it just happens to go into an opponents hands. He can't beat his master.

While Andrew Luck doesn't have an elite arm, it's still above average.
Also despite his unorthodox throwing motion, he has a very quick release (which is more important)
But what put in him elite categoties are three things, athleticism, footwork and his pocket presence.

I expect him to ascend with a more mature/improved O-Line
and With Andre Johnson and Frank Gore (who can catch passes out the backfield)

The Colts, imo are the 2nd best team in the AFC no worse than 3rd.

Pep Hamilton may be one of the best O Coordinators in the league.

I would put him past Brees who I think is more overrated the past 2 years. Fair enough with everyone else, but do notice that you are essentially putting him in the same category as 8-10 year vets.

I'm more of a Peyton fan than a Brady fan. But Brady > Peyton in terms of throwing motion.
Thats preposterous. Brady has a slower delivery. Until Rodger, Peyton had the best motion since Marino. Especially Peyton in his prime.

He may have had a better motion than even Marino:wow:

Better is pretty subjective. Albeit Peyton has a very quick release.

Luck might have the best mechanics in the whole league. He has a high release point and really uses his lower half to drive the ball. Romo has great mechanics too

:dwillhuh: Luck is one of, if not the best QB avoiding the pass rush and stepping into the pocket in the league already , do you even watch football?

What good is moving well in the pocket if you just throw it to the defense?:patrice:.

Do you even NFL?:beli:

Luck led the league in touchdowns last season and his interception rate is comparable and even better than other greats(Like Peyton Manning, and Tom brady) at the same point in their careers.
