I rather see an open lesbian leading some shyt, than a homosexual male married to a woman as a beard that's having sex with men and underage boys on the low like a lot of churches have. Or a married male pastor that's sleeping with women in the congregation and/or underage girls. Both scenarios I knew about growing up in churches. :manny:

Religious mafukkas the ultimate hypocrites and cool with sins they commit but condemn others to a non-existent hell for the same sin or some other shyt.
Exactly.

I’d rather ppl be open and honest than have secret lives and harm others.

Dr. Umar discusses the serious allegations against gospel singer Donnie McClurkin, who he considers one of the "Mount Rushmore of gospel music" (0:20-0:23).

The video covers:

Donnie McClurkin's Background (0:26-2:27): McClurkin is a Grammy, Soul Train, and NAACP Image Award winner. He was uninvited from a Barack Obama event due to his views on homosexuality at a time when the Democratic Party still frowned upon it. Dr. Umar notes Obama's shift on gay marriage after being elected (1:47-1:57).
McClurkin's Autobiography and Allegations (2:40-7:00): McClurkin's autobiography revealed he was sexually abused by a great uncle and the great uncle's son, which he stated triggered homosexual thoughts. He also claimed he was forced to consume gay pornography (2:46-3:36). In 2002, McClurkin publicly stated he was "freed from the homosexual demon" (4:10-4:17).

Gioeppie Corletto's Claims (4:33-9:05): In 2003, McClurkin met Gioeppie Corletto, who claimed he was also struggling with homosexuality and sought McClurkin's help after reading his book. Corletto became McClurkin's assistant in 2003-2004, traveling with him. Two years later, Corletto alleges McClurkin began making sexual advances, groping, and eventually raping him (5:35-6:57). Corletto claims McClurkin, when confronted, stated he was under the influence of drugs and didn't remember (7:40-7:55). Corletto also alleges McClurkin groped him in church before sermons (8:17-8:38) and even assaulted him while his girlfriend was present on a trip in 2007 (8:40-9:05).

The "Smoking Gun" and Aftermath (9:51-11:10): Corletto claims he cut ties in 2008 but returned later, leading to another alleged rape in Niagara Falls in 2014. The "smoking gun" is an alleged email from McClurkin to Corletto after the Niagara Falls incident, apologizing and stating, "I'm a dirty old man" and admitting to manipulating Corletto (10:01-10:57).

Broader Implications (11:11-14:10): Dr. Umar hopes the allegations are false for the sake of McClurkin and the Black church community, drawing parallels to the Eddie Long situation involving inappropriate sexual relations with young men (12:51-13:17). He criticizes the Black church for not addressing "the zesty spirit" (homosexuality and related issues) and abuse, comparing it to the Catholic church's issues (13:30-13:59).

Questions for the Accuser (14:27-16:37): Dr. Umar notes that Corletto has not specified damages, which lends potential integrity to the case. However, he questions Corletto's actions, asking why he didn't stop going to the church, tell anyone, or call the police. He suggests the encounters might have been "consensual" but with a significant power dynamic due to McClurkin's status and Corletto's age (14:51-16:11). Dr. Umar expresses skepticism about the allegations if Corletto didn't go to the police (16:13-16:37).
