Trust me. If Paul wanted to go over Brock then, he would have went fukking over. It was obvious vince wanted the split after the invasion flop and those two were the biggest stars at the time. Made no sense to have them both on the same show. Besides, I can imagine the reaction if HHH beat Brock before he really took off in 02 :dead: Best they avoided each other

I dunno breh, it's tough to say considering 22:40 of this vid wasn't exactly something that happened often if ever back then.

it's just "odd" even with the brand split that they never wrestled each other nor really interacted much on tv in that 02-04 time frame. Brock wrestled literally everyone available, they were gonna feed Austin to him, he wrestled Eddie, Benoit, Taker, Angle etc. .. I am glad it never went down if for no other reason than the chemistry wouldn't have been there as they both generally needed to be dominant to shine against guys their size.

HHH woudln't have gone over Brock. Vince was too high on Lesnar at the time.

HHH does have power backstage, but when Vince is REALLY behind someone there's nothing Hunter can do about it. Otherwise Rock would have been jobber since HHH and HBK stayed trying to bury his career.

Trust me, if HHH wanted to have a program with Brock and wanted to go over, he would have found a way. This is the same guy who found a way to finesse his way out of dropping the title to Booker because he said he would be a bigger draw with Goldberg, then found ways to not drop the belt by claiming Goldberg was losing his heat. I think the only reason he did drop the belt to Goldberg was because he had a nagging injury. But if HHH was on SD with Brock in 02, he would have found ways of justifying winning the belt from him since he wasn't a draw at that time. Paulito, the GOAT backstage politician :blessed:

Vince wasn't as high on Booker as he was Brock.

Like I said if Vince was big on someone he was gonna push them regardless of what Hunter had to say. If Hunter could talk Vince out of and into anything Rock would have been a career mid carder since Hunter AND HBK were trying to bury him. Plus if Taker did the honors for Brock there's no way in hell Hunter was going to go over Brock.

Hell if HHH had his way Goldberg wouldn't have even been brought into WWE. Vince wanted Goldberg so he got him despite HHH's protests.
