As a modern man you gotta carry your values and be firm about them. Don't debate with people who feel otherwise. Don't apologize. Just move accordingly. Women will get the point that no matter how much they might despise that man his influence is not nearly dead and will live on for a while. All because of the era of men being silent while masculinity was under attack him speaking candidly made him an unlikely hero across races.
It's not about him being right all the time. It's about the voice he restored to men that wasn't pandering or PC. On paper and in society we are still playing (really paying) traditional gender roles while we get to mostly have nothing of value to ask of women.
Cant ask them to be self sufficient or keep their figure or keep a home but they can ask of you that you play all those old roles while the court does the same. Men are silently protesting and some publicly in their support of any defiant voice.
