Q: Best/ funniest Vince McMahon story?

A: We were on our way over to Iraq, which is a really, really long flight. And we were actually flying from New Finland to Rammstein airforce base in Germany. This is like twelve hours into the flight, people passed out and lots of alcohol consumed. It was a C17 transport plane, a big, wide open plane. People are scattered all over the place. 90% of the people were sleeping. Vince, a sixty-five year old billionaire, was low-crawling around being super stealthy with a bag of hard candies tucked under his arm. He'd hide behind something, pop his head up, throw a candy at their face, then pop down again. They'd wake up, look around and see nothing then go back to sleep. Then he'd pop up and do it again. Just kept doing it.

Q: Your feud with Taker, walk me through it, how much did you enjoy it? How was Taker about the feud?

A: Taker was the guy that approached me and he asked Vince if he could work with me. He had seen my match with Batista at the Great American Bash and he enjoyed it. And then we proceeded to be tied to the hip for the next nine months to a year.

I remember the first night being in the ring, I came out and I did my introduction. The lights go out and I hear that gong for the first time. I got goosebumps and I remember thinking How did I get here? And that feeling sort of never went away, I always enjoyed it. I sat through that intro for almost a year, four to five nights a week, it never got old. I always enjoyed it. And he was fantastic cause he had taken me under his wing and really showed me how to go out and just wing it and listen to the people.

Q: What was the highlight of your time in TNA? Did you enjoy the Aces and Eights storyline?

A: There are several things that I have to choose from. My feud with Kurt Angle was one of my favorites. The feud I had with Bully Ray. Doing stuff with Sting. The one thing that stands out in my mind and fan's minds is when I dressed up as young Sting. My feud with Samuel Shaw was very funny and we were allowed to be as creative as we wanted to be.

I did. I wish that we could've had a little more backstage presence. I think that when you're doing a storyline like that, you have an opportunity to be very creative with not just the wrestling...but in real motorcycle clubs, they are prospecting and the one thing that sort of irritated me was that people would just be invited into the club. Like one day they would be outside the club and the next day, they would be wearing a cut, which is not accurate. But I had a ton of fun and I was able to do it with guys who were my friends.

Q: Who is your favorite current wrestler?

A: Well I'll tell you Ricochet is one of my favorites to watch right now, but I've always been a huge fan of AJ Styles. I'm very, very happy about the success that he's having over in WWE. People said that he would never do it...so many doubters. I love when good people, talented people get to prove the world wrong.

Q: Yourself, JBL and The Miz play exceedingly good heel personas. What, in your opinion, is the most important thing when playing a heel role. Also thoughts on fans cheering for heels?

Thanks :-)

A: Doing stuff to get people to dislike you. Don't be afraid of looking like an a$$hole. That's the whole purpose, you want to look like an ass. Even if you can do super athletic incredible moves, you don't because you don't want to outshine the person that you're working with.

Q: What's the best advice Vince McMahon gave you?

A: I remember he harped on me for months and months to tone down my comedy cause I was a really over the top character. And he sort of reeled me in and made a little more realistic.

Q: A genie grants you a wish for a six-month feud with any pro wrestler, living or dead, culminating in a match at Wrestlemania. Who do you choose?

A: The Rock.

Actually...Rocky Maivia. Like old-school fanny-packing wearin', frickin' Kid n' Play hair havin' Rocky Maivia.

Q: Is there still any beef between you and Randy Orton? Have you been in contact with him since that fateful night in May 2009?

A: We cleared the air five or six years ago, so there's no beef.

Q: What is your favorite segment of Botchamania?

A: I have a personal one where I did a swanton off the top rope onto Bully Ray who was positioned on a table on the floor. And I completely missed. I hit him, but I just sort of rolled off of him. It was a pay-per-view and it was the main event of the pay-per-view. I picked him up and we both had the same thought at the same time and I just Mic Checked him through the table.

But I will tell you I fukking hate, I abhor the word botch. It's only a term fans use, wrestlers don't use it. It's just a fukkup, that's what we call it. Or a blown spot. "Oh, he fukking blew that spot."

Q: Whats the one thing that you dont like about New Era? And Why?

A: Everything's so scripted. I wish that guys were allowed to be more creative and go out on a limb. For some reason, wrestlers aren't actors. I think the two go hand in hand. So when a writer creates dialogue for an individual and that individual not being an actor goes out and tries to say whatever they're given, it comes across as very phony. Fake, phony, pre-planned bullshyt.

Q: First off, shout outs to WI. Secondly, I wanted to ask who did you typically drive with during your time in WWE? Could you share some hilarious or memorable stories from the road with us?

A: It was mostly Matt Hardy, Shane Helms and I. And then for a few years it was Randy Orton and Bob Holly.

I remember one time we (this was with Randy) stopped at a roadside fireworks stand and he bought a bunch of fireworks and we were rolling down the highway at probably one o'clock in the morning. He was firing roman candles out of the windows, the big ones too.

When I was riding with Matt and Shane, it was super hot in the car. For whatever reason, the car we rented had a broken air conditioner. Extremely hot, like a hundred degrees inside. Matt was driving, I was in the passenger seat. Shane was in back and kept talking about how hot he was. I look back at one point and Shane is sitting in the middle seat and took off everything but his boxer shorts just to pop us.

Q: Do you feel your best match with Batista was in Royal Rumble 2007?

A: The match that I had with Batista that really sticks out to me is The Great American Bash. I got busted open hardway two different times during the match and I was covered in blood from head to toe. From the top of my head to my chest was just a mess. It was a bloodbath. And they were both accidents. The match was really good and it was the first time that I got the chance to show what I had to offer.

I'm convinced MarkForHimself has a fetish for horrible midcarders/jobbers.
