Oh I agree with you on reparations bruh. But when you actually look at Bernie's policies they will definitely affect our community more proportionately, Minimum wage for instance. But I agree with you. Reparations for us is just a complete nonstarter for the overwhelming majority of Americans.Fighting for income inequality for who? When reparations were brought up for black people, this is what Sanders response was:
Bernie Sanders Struggles To Defend Reparations Stance To Black Voters
"You and I may disagree on this," he said. "It's not just black. It is Latino. There are areas of America, in poorer rural America, where it's white. So, I believe that in a country that has more income and wealth inequality than any other country, then yes, the time is overdue to invest."
The did the same shyt with affirmative action. They made black people the face of it, but the majority of affirmative action benefits goes to white women

Flawed logic, yes our people died for the right but you don't have to if you're not comfortable with the candidates. If someone hands you a shyt sandwich and a piss drink it's okay to say you don't want either.Man, who should I vote for? But Bernie also wants to take on the big corporations that do unpatriotic things like this. Also there isn't any credible data that says that raising the minimum wage leads to an increase of unemployment. That's not necessarily true. Historically when the minimum wage increases, black people are negatively affected the most:
Black Teens Are Fired When the Minimum Wage Rises

The point is we've tried doing things the way the other candidates want. Bernie was to actually do something different.

Well he's talked about criminal justice reform and that the system is racist. Look man I agree with you, but if the black president wasn't "pro black" we are never going to get a pro black president. It is what it is. If you and many other posters want to take the all or nothing approach and just not participate in the Gen election I understand.Bernie Sanders has never said what he would do specifically for black people. Whenever the subject comes up he says he wants to help EVERYBODY. He doesn't even say how much of the money he wants allocated to fight these conditions will go specifically to black people.
Again, we are here hoping that this man (who has publicly said he will not support reparations for black people but CO sponsored a bill to give reparations to Jews) is somehow gonna look out for us as a group.
