I'm really starting to see the merit of a popular vote system. Not because of this, but because when you think about it its beyond weird to make it so that just because you live in a certain state, your vote's power is drastically cut into. That goes for people voting against the traditional party of their state, and as we're seeing now, even for the people voting with the traditional party of their state. At a point in Cali, all those excess votes didn't make a lick of difference in the outcome. Thats just weird.
Everyone should just directly vote for the policies they believe in and it should stand as is.
