I've admitted to supporting Hillary in the primary for what I felt were legit reasons. At the same time, it led to a myopia to what was needed to win in this country and being blindsided to trouble areas for the Democratic Party.

Surprisingly, the Bernie supporters on this board have been much more gracious than I expected with rubbing it in the face of the "other side". Instead I've seen a lot of forward thinking from those same people instead of anger over what has occurred. It happened and now solutions need to be found to make sure it doesn't happen again.

But there are a few people who are still obstinate over the fact that it wasn't so much that trump won, but that Hillary lost. She had serious issues that have always been there but were underestimated in their impact on the general.

So come in and cop to the fact you fukked up at least strategically speaking. You don't have to apologize for who you voted for but at least admit that there were serious problems you ignored or didn't see.

Her supporters just followed whatever the media told them was true. Can't blame them for being in a bubble.

Honestly, I fell into the same trap heading into election night when I was leaning toward a Trump win after the DNC convention which was basically a revolt mixed with blatant corruption and forced feminism. Compared to the RNC which was wild but told white people what time it was :francis:

The problem is Clinton has near negative polling to Trump and in some polls people trust him more. Yes, sensible people know Clinton is more tolerable but the general electorate is full of idiots. And also people have disliked Hillary for years and it's not just some conservative conspiracy either.

If the dem ticket is perceived as full on establishment then yes it will have a negative impact. You can't run on being the opposite of your candidate when you're not that hot either. All up and down state and local elections buffoons in both parties get elected, so it's not like it can't happen at the top. I don't want to risk a Trump presidency because the Democrats are so cocky of their demographic advantages that they run a corporatist ticket and think people will be enthused and rally to fight Trump.
Voting based on lesser evils never works that way.

I'm just going based on the polling. They are both pretty much disliked by a majority of Americans. I can't put my views of the elections on everybody else because they think different then me. To alot of Americans they're deciding between an outside guy who's widely unpredictable and hateful or the establishment that doesn't think the rules apply to them. All I'm saying is for the Dems not to double down on that by picking someone closer to her way of thinking and look for someone closer to the guy who has near half of the party on his side. I think a message of change defeats a message of not Trump to people who aren't as nuanced in what these candidates are really about.
Receipts from after RNC, I pretty much felt this way until p*ssy gate.

Payments accepted Obamacare,paypal and livestock
I dont see why the average supporter carries any blame for this...this falls 100% on the leftist media..NYT,Huppost,slate,vox.Msnbc....they were ALL in bed with Hillary BEFORE the decision to run was made. They hyped her up and kept chanting the mantra "shes the only one who can win this" .

The lack of independent leftist media on the left created a bubble of cognitive dissonance ...In truth she was so unpopular she had to pay people to say positive things about her...
did any body point that out?
She got demolished in the debates (despite having the answers) but they declared her the winner anyway

And after the primary they all focused on how to make people hate Trump because they knew they couldnt get people to like her

Only the Media on the right was pointing out how flawed she was and admitting Bernie was a superior candidate

Nah Bernie went on a honeymoon in the Kremlin and doesn't like women or something.
know most of you just discovered politics 6 months ago and ignore facts, logic, and empirical data just like the buffoon you stan, but I'm curious to see how you envision a Trump victory happening.

I was thinking about it myself in the thread @GzUp made about early electoral predictions and I floated the idea of official predictions for coli cash or something.

My current way-too-early prediction is Hillary wins 358-180.

This is the 2012 map.

Election 2012

Please tell us how Trump gets to 270. What states will he win or lose that Romney lost or won in 2012?

Trump supporters, looking at the electoral map what path to victory do you see?

Bow down fakkit:weiny:

I always maintained that Bernie would've been the better candidate against Trump. Stay on topic, Cac.
