That entire deal does not sit well with me and never has. I never understood why we pushed this forward and what was the gain by doing it? Perhaps someone can enlighten me but I don't get it.

The Russians and Chinese pushed for the talks. They want Iran in the Shanghai Treaty (you can't join the SCO while under international sanctions). The Euros want to do business with Iran. Iran has a YUGE young population that's educated and skilled.

John Kerry has openly said the deal was needed because of the future of the US Dollar. Iran has been trading with numerous countries including staunch US allies in mutual currencies and gold to bypass the sanctions. The biggest are India and Turkey who formally accepted the sanctions but bypassed them. China and Russia have explored the strategy Iran used. So has Sourh Korea and Japan.

Also that money is Iran's money. They were frozen due to the sanctions.

Of course not but the "mainstream" talking points in the 90's weren't directed at whites (who were homegrown terrorists in the 90s) nor was it directed at the Latinos since they didn't have numbers back then..so that only really leaves one group she could be talking about...It might be the same group of people that were disproportionately negatively affected by her husbands crime bill

Jesus, you're either naive af or you're under the age of 25. Her comments were in references to the crack-cocaine epidemic that predominantly overtook black communities.

I'm not making it seem like anything. Its Hillary's own words put into real context. If you want to be ignorant to the context, thats on you. The only place where Latinos were mainstream in the US in the 90s was Cali and the southwest US. They didn't have the numbers that they do now. They weren't a 'mainstream problem' back then. No one cared about them at all outside of the southwest.

I'm starting to wonder why you are so quick to deflect from her blatant racism? Seems like a reoccurring trend in the Democratic party. They stab you in the back (Crime Bill that fukked over your community more than any 'racist' Republican ever could) and in turn you give that same family your blind loyalty. Makes sense.
