We’re seeing the blowback of colonialism that created nations of people that culturally, whether for ethnic or religious reasons, shouldn’t have been hastily grouped together. Now that areas from Africa, to the Middle East, to India are exploding and creating the biggest wave of migrations since the early 20th century, European nations are becoming nationalistic as well.
One thing about man is we repeat ourselves, as we head into this new decade of nationalism and protectionism, forgetting the devastation of WWII since hardly anyone is alive from that era who has real memories of what the world was like, while eastern forces like Russia and China ally with any and everyone that will agree to strengthen their sphere of influence, i definitely think a war between large powers has the potential to pop off in the next 30 years.

Last time I checked muslims dont eat beef like that...they just looking for ANY reason to kill them...
Hopefully a nearby majority Muslim country will offer asylum.
it goes too deep for that. even within the context of a nation different nationalisms (based on religion, region etc) will rise and result in conflict.
India, China... how is the Middle East cool with all of this?

Hindu nationalism has always been around...and deadly. India just isn't on the West's radar like that other than yoga, Gandhi and Bollywood. Hell, Gandhi himself was killed by a Hindu nationalist for being too "friendly" with Muslims at the time of independence and the following partition.
I think the Middle East's hands are a bit full while they wait on Jared Kushner's plans
