SchoolBoy Q had plenty of promotion, he just didnt have any hits. He got multiple videos, and multiple songs in radio rotation across the US.
He had one joint with kendrick that got some rotation
He had one joint with macklemore that got a lot of rotation
He got a solo single that really didnt get much rotation at all

thats promotion

Good looks for Q and Cudi for showing fanbases >> hit singles. Hopefully Q can sell semi-consistantly considering he's been getting solid reviews across the board.

wonder where those people who were saying he wouldn't crack 85 lol

I thought that was pure nonsense. Between Isaiah Rashad coming out of NOWHERE and selling 8500 copies of a mixtape and the 30k preorder numbers, anybody thinking he would do less than 85k was a fool. I didn't think he would do this well though. I had it closer to 100k so props to him.
