'HIP-HOP EVOLUTION' on Netflix... season 2

Anyone caught this yet?

The first four eps hit Netflix almost 2 years ago. Started all the way back at the beginning years of hip-hop, then the progression through the 80s to the first golden age and then the advent of 'gangsta rap'...

The next 4 eps dropped this weekend.

1- the South's entry into hip-hop, featured artists being Luke/2 Live, Rap-a-Lot, and UGK

2- The arrival of the Bay Area- focus on Too Short, E-40, Paris, Digital, and then 2Pac

3- The conscious era of rap featuring KRS and Native Tongues

4- the East Coast rap 'rebirth' focus on the producers of the era, Wu-Tang, Nas, & BIG

Dope series overall... I was ready for more episodes, them shyts flew by.

Season 2 is fukking ridiculous. I’m really impressed how they covering all the bases. Damn they even covering sampling and SP1200. shyt man they even covered Bay Area rap, Houston, Florida, touched on Natuve tongues. I mean God damn they leaving no stone unturned!

Just finished it. fukk!! Every episode was great but the last two gave me chills throughout. Gonna go back and start from the first season again. Hope it gets green lit for a third.
