It's no surprises to see all these artists getting jammed up :hubie: one of my female friends brought up the point that too many guys see women as just objects to fukk. She might be right

you are correct. But something interesting after the tip drill video Nelly had in 2004/5 many black women complained about being sex objects in rap videos.

Then rappers started using non black women in their rap videos then many black women complained rappers were being colorist and not using black women in rap videos. lol

I think their point was to improve their image, not get rid of them altogether. If you watch certain rnb or african music videos the portrayal is still sexy but a bit classier.

The only issue with this argument is that sexual harassment goes on in other genres/professions/industries

It's an issue with certain men that have power

An issue with men as though Only Fans and twitter aint booming from women who took the objectifying of women into their own hands and started objectifying themselves.

When are we going to discuss how the vast majority of women WANT to be seen as sex objects? So much so that old head women that are past their prime are doing all kinds of surgeries and treatments and when they can't afford that, they just use the filters on social media so that they can appear to be as sexy as the younger thots

You want to treat women right? Then not only treat them with the same level of respect you would treat a man, but also hold them accountable at the same level you would a man. Meaning, they have agency just like men. If they decide to participate in a degrading video, then you blame the ones willing to participate in a degrading video too, along with the industry who is producing it.

No one can degrade a free person unless they allow it. So unless those women were being held captive and forced to participate in those objectifying scenes, they deserve to be called out just as much as the men who paid them.

Also, many of the entertainment industries pretty much objectivefy the talent, male and female. It is up to the talent to determine what they are willing to put up with. Since there will always be people coveting fame and glory no matter the cost, then the cost for a lot of them will be high. Which is also another reason why I do not look towards any entertainer as someone to aspire to be like or idolize.
