Naughty had a pretty unique career. On 2-3 of their songs, they got the kind of mainstream reach that usually only went to 1 hit wonder pop acts. But they remained a relevant group to the core hip hop audience. Was a rare feat back then.

Credit to Tommy Boy and Vinny for good decision making. And to the group for being great live performers to help blow these songs up in the first place.
