He was Kool Hercs mc, and that is why some call him the first mc but, then you get into Kool Herc not being the inventor of Hip Hop. Just the one who rocked mostly breakbeats, and the one who made it official in history books for throwing the party that is known at the day hip hop was born.

Basically a good money maker, and story to tell, but it goes deeper then that.
