It's actually true, some people do do this I've noticed, which is a bit disrespectful as Face don't need it for that reason, he could get in to many's off merit because he has a fantastic body of work from The Geto Boys to all the solo projects, Face is probably somewhere in my top 10, if not definitely 15. From the south I've got K-Rino and Z-Ro on my list too. I like music from all regions so where the artist is from is irrelevant to me.

and hes far above Jay on my list(who is also one of my faves) and Biggie(who is not even a fave of mine)

I think I said it here before. But Face is the only one out of the group of rappers people claim is GOAT level(Pac, Jay, him etc) that really has no bad album imo

people do the same with Outkast. They shyt on the south but mention their love for Outkast. its like a rap version of some racist saying "but I got black friends to"

20 Years Ago, I had Face in my Top 10, like 7-8. So now he's in my Top 5. I think Face's praise is legitimate. He's someone that everyone seems to like music from, if not Geto Boyz, some solo material. It's when someone lists Pac/Jay/Nas/Big then 1 random, is when I question it.
