The lack of A&Rs to find authentic acts to push into the mainstream is killing hip hop. It’s not like country or pop where you can autotune some idiot and make a hit.

The push of female rapper also killed hip hop. Bars about Ratchet bytch shyt ain’t selling out concerts.

Hip Hop had an almost 50 year run. Beat heavy metal, jazz, techno, drum and bass, disco, chillwave, reggaton, ska, reggae, house, alternative, blues and grunge.

Hip Hop outperformed every prediction and defeated every rival. If it is almost dead, so be it but we got to experience one of the greatest music genres of all times. #blackexcellece

I have zero excitement for new drops. Even of artists I am a fan of.

I can't say it's dead because there are people excited for the new stuff

But personally, I'm cool.
Same. I liked futures last albums but I stopped listening after 4-6 weeks. Might just be getting flabby though. The content is basically for 20-somethings.
