They are saying Eminem, Snoop, Chance the Rapper, Run DMC and Jay. All do Yoga but to me I do not know what could be beneficial about multiple stretch poses in terms of bettering your life and etc.

I would rather meditation but I wouldn't know where to begin. I suppose you could watch online tutorials but I want the main source like the potent meditation. Like an ayewaskaa like trip or DMT but no drugs. Natural upliftment.

In years past, Eminem even mentioned doing yoga, after letting go of a lot of the bad habits he once had. J. Cole and Kobe Bryant have many times spoke about how important meditating is to themselves and their mental. Run DMC and Snoop Dogg have discussed times they would meditate.

I dont think Yoga and Meditating are the same thing.

But if someone like Em can drop all the toxins and pills and lost all that weight through natural moves. I am with it.

I work out, I drink sea moss and even got them vitamin supplements. Only thing I dont do is cardiovascular due to strict rota at the moment I cant run. I am not a gym member I turned the spare room into a studio and gym.

If I can gain some extras with meditating I am with it, I can't see myself doing Yoga I just dont know what you gain apart from being more limber and agile.

Not trying to be spiderman anyway.

FYI losing weight is almost entirely related to diet. Don’t bother with vitamins they’re overpriced and generally worthless. Just eat a lot of leafy greens.
Yoga is a very broad term but any trainer worth your time will incorporate elements of yoga into your program. Core strength will change your whole life.

As someone who’s more into Qi gong there seems like there would be more connective tissue to Hip Hop via break dancing.

Been thinking about what a system like that coukd look/feel like

Those Iron supplements too?

I hear there are good pharmacy counter Vitamin D supplements. Vitamin D comes from the sun naturally but a little boost helps the bones and skin. I have been taken them daily for a while. I'm going to look into it. Also a good diet would help I dont overly eat junk food and try to be healthy always fresh produce.

I could never get a trainer for Yoga lol, not even a trainer for weights. I think its a self-motivating thing and online tutorials lol.

How do you increase your core strength please?

QI?

I'm interested you say more connective with your movements?

A lot of Pro Boxers are into the yoga/meditating/enlightened moves. They say it helps discipline and focus.

Absolutely nothing wrong with meditation in the morning to clear your mind :ahh:

I might have to try that maybe sit over a cup of tea or coffee and stay silent and reflect until the tea or coffee is over.

I want to charge up Professor Xavier style.

One more quick question Bro, I appreciate you.

Is there any particular technique or strategy you use to begin clearing your mind and then meditating? I live alone so as soon as I am back at home it's like I am meditating anyway that's without putting on the music/computer/electrical stimulation. Just me and my thoughts so I was hoping meditating will bring me an even more reflective perspective or enlightened view, naturally. Like them 'Stoic Sigma Males' lol.

I really like the benefits it says it will bring like better health and sleep. I just can't switch things off like that. Robert Greene the author had an accident so therapeutically he meditated in the mornings and said it helped him get better. I like RZA's outlook and moves these days.

The only thing I do is just focusing on my breathing, breathe in, breathe out, try to keep a pace and what are your intentions?… And that usually calms me down before I start my day.

I’m definitely not qualified to be talking about this, but it helps

Props you are dead accurate. I reference Robert Greene again. He said similar just quiet and concentrate on inhaling and exhaling.

I might need to do more the first few times I attempt it. Maybe lofi beats, whale noises or wood chimes or oriental instrumentation. These are a few of the sounds I see people in deep meditation having in the background.

Namaste! :salute:

If anything helps you breathe, if there’s some tracks that will get you in the zone absolutely play it, anything to help you with mental health :salute:

Yeah definitely. You might seem some similarities between Yoga, Qi Gong or even Tai Chi, but the last two can almost be like a dance because the emphasis is on flowing movements to cultivate vitality.

Seems like this brother got the vision in a way of what I'm talking about.

You don't have to learn a whole system of movements, one or two regularly done could benefit you a great deal.

Oh I was thinking more like Zumba classes this is much better.

It is like slow motion and extrapolating all the moves from martial arts. I reckon if you know a little bit of what you are supposed to be doing with QI then this is something you can do individually at the comfort of your own space. I like this a lot just wondering on the required time you need to get a good dosage of endorphins, burn calories and get your health and mind right.

Ultimately people say an early morning run or late night run does wonders for all that and especially mentally but I just can't get with running in public even some parks around me I might try in the winter when its less packed but they are letting dogs loose and the new breed of choice here is the American XL Bully :wow:
