I know this show can be divisive to some folks on here. But to me, they sound like they post here, or at least lurk. They're on TV representing a demographic that's really not acknowledged that much on TV and I appreciate 'em for that.

lotta heads think they're corny or "try too hard" but I think it's dope how they're both legit true hip hop fans and I :salute: them for giving Phife his props. Especially having the cojones to do so on a network like ESPN.

Just saw this and they spent the first 10 minutes on Phife Dawg:wow:

Jamele not wanting to say the Electric Relaxation verse was her fav but Mike said, "You can say Siemens Furniture. It's a brand name.":dead:

I never understood the criticism. They were always alright with me.

At work so I can't see it but I found out about Phife's death when I turned on the TV this morning and seen Michael Smith wearing a Midnight Mauraders tee on Mike & Mike and then Greenberg acknowledged that he was paying homage due to to Phife's death. I still don't really rock with Jemele but Smith is cool with me after he went in on Richard Sherman's #Alllivesmatter shtick and invited Curren$y on the show since they went to school together.

There's a looooooot of hip hop heads over at Bristol and ESPN, that's why Phife, Wayne, Nas, Pete Rock, Fab, Wale have all been on the shows and why the current crop of personalties were Hip Hop kids 20 years ago and pay tribute to them

I saw a lot of Tribe tributes to Phife from ESPN people on twitter today, Van Pelt sent some awesome tweets today about listening to him and then finally meeting him.
