Jerry Lynn should have gotten a run somewhere. He was almost peerless in wrestling ability.

I miss professional wrestling. And Jerry Lynn is gonna be the kind of wrestler remembered for being athletic and credible.

Jerry Lynn wasn't no underwear model. He made wrestling look like a sport.

And as for talking....why does he need to talk? Benoit couldn't talk...Rey Mysterio still can't talk.

Fans who know Jerry Lynn's work don't care what he has to say. Real talk: we should be arguing whether or not he legitimated RVD. Cuz since their feud Mr. Monday Night has been a man riding an outdated rep.

Lynn is Gold.

But, honestly, most fans won't appreciate Lynn. They'll prefer a Christian or some other overrated midcarder--even in the TSC.

Sadly, when Christian retires his thread will blow up.

A tip my hat to fux'n Jerry Lynn. That dude was amazing.

he only won the roh title because gabe thought he looked like randy the ram (which he does)

he only won the ecw title because van dam was injured

he was what he was, a decent midcard wrestler who had a career because of wrestling superior talent like rvd and sean waltman endless times

Real Talk, Jerry Lynn was a certified nobody before his feud with RVD. He bounced around to many places, never could stick, and no one cared how well could wrestle. RVD put him on the map, and it's the opposite, Lynn has been riding that since then. RVD went on to be WWE Champion, feuded with the likes of Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Stone Cold, Jeff Hardy, and Eddie Guerrero. RVD never talked, he didn't cut these amazing promos but look where he is in the history books and look where Lynn ended up - Lynn debuted in the WWE as Light Heavyweight Champion and was gone in a year, and no one even noticed or cared. He went on to TNA/ROH where he had some great matches, but no one talks about them. He is unappreciated.

With that out of the way, Lynn was a GREAT wrestler. He was a more of in the moment guy though. He needed that right type of push behind him to matter. If he didn't have people behind the scenes, he didn't have it in him to advocate for himself. He is too nice of a guy. He has always said it was about the future of this business and helping the new guys out, which was ridiculous because he never got a shot at anything. He was one of those guys that is always talked about that just didn't have the heart to advance, that gave up on his wrestling career very early.

jerry lynn is the AZ of professional wrestling. a guy that had success but not on the level that he shouldve. a guy whos legacy is criminally overlooked.

jerry lynn is hands-down one of the best workers on american soil thru the past 20+ years, dating back to his gwf days.......so its only right that he ends it with a match against waltman. question, didnt they have a feud or a ppv match based off their old gwf rivalry without it being directly acknowledged?

dude had me in awe with his matches since i was like 6. one of the 1st wrestlers that made me pay attention to the actual match. and he still has me in awe of his matches 22 years later. THIS DUDE BUILT THE X-DIVISION and these johny-come-lately posters dont even know.

so what if he cant talk? like dude said, benoit couldnt talk, mysterio still cant, etc. hell, mysterio is so bad on the mic that the annoyance factor that he brings when he talks led me to no longer liking dude.

before robbie v even became a jobber on wcw worldwide, jerry lynn was a champion, putting on classic matches on espn.

No, he wasn't. No one watched or cared about Mr. JL or any of his ESPN stuff. If so how come no one has brought them up yet? Because they didn't matter, and really were not that good.

And RVD Classic Matches:
vs Cena at ONS 2006
vs Jeff Hardy Invasion
vs Benoit Summerslam
vs Brock Lesnar and Jericho King of the Ring 2002
Sabu and RVD vs Hayabusa and Jinsei Shinzaki Heatwave 98
vs Eddie Guerro ladder match for the IC title Raw
vs Angle and Stone Cold for WWE Title Unforgiven
vs Sabu #1 contender match for ECW title
vs Rey Mysterio Extreme Rules on Raw

I could literally do this all day. Wack Fagat, do us all a favor and go back into obscurity. Everyone always hated you and your shytty opinions.

I've always been a fan. I remember watching GWF where he and Kid had some great matches. WCW & WWF could've done more with him. He didn't have great charisma or promo skills but he would've made for a good workhorse IC/US title holder but I don't feel like he was robbed of a main event run.

Other than that, I have no qualms about what he's done on the indy scene. I consider him a legend in that regard.

Thinking about it, I wondered if Xpac tried to get him into the kliq before he ended up going to WCW, but this paragraph tells me that they would have shyt in his bag on day 1

Him and X-Pac were always close, they both started out together in Minny.
