'Hitch' the movie... re-reviewed... spoilers

The movie "Hitch" came out in 2005. I watched it. At the time, I thought it was funny and entertaining.
Well, last week, I decided to watch it on Amazon Prime, since it was free.

That movie is completely crazy. After the Eva Mendes character ruined his career and his client's relationship with one tabloid article, I was like, she jumped to conclusions and ruined two people's lives. This movie is over. It had been such a long time since I saw, I was curious as to how and why he hooked back up with her at the end of the movie.
Well, it turns out he just changed his mind.
Looking back, the ending was unbelievable. Not sure why it even worked.
