I walked in today and overheard two of my team members having this conversation

Which one would you rather have... HIV or cancer?

At first I was at the thought of having aids but one team member brought up some good points:

Cancer comes and then leaves and comes back...the remission rate is crazy high

at least with HIV you know you have it and you get no false "I beat it" only to have it again

If you're HIV+ they have medicine to keep you "healthy" You can live with it for years whereas cancer can knock you out over a holiday weekend

BUT

That stigma...

Cancer you might get some sympathy "I'm bout to die" pyssy
But HIV your hittin days are over.

when you tell em that it's safe if you wear 3 condoms and slow stroke it from the back...


So I ask my coli brehs and brehettes... which would you rather have... Cancer... or be HIV +?

I have a better chance of getting it treated than I would trying to negate AIDS to them Magic Johnson levels of remission and treatment.
If I got AIDS the chicks I normally sleep with would prolly chuck my ass to the bushes and I'd feel really bad not letting any future girls know I have that shyt incase we get serious and she starts talking about marriage and kids.

Cancer seems to take you down much quicker bug at least people aren't afraid of you.

If you have to i guess you gotta go with Cancer. It's hard to die. Even worse knowing that you could have possibly infected someone else in the process. I'm sure your conscience will kill you just as quick as the disease itself
