I'm certain AE is better than ROTM at this point. Better raps and beats. HNIC's highs still put it above the other two despite the synthy spots.

uh...better raps & beats.

don't forget, ROTM was a glorified mixtape where Al just looped up blacksploitation joints for P to rhyme on. Hardly the full on beat wizardy found on Albert Einstein. Plus, P was still kinda sleepwalking back then. He's rapping way better on the new joint.

I'm inclined to agree. It's a cop out but I have to think that AE = ROTM. The really high spots on ROTM I still put maybe higher than a lot of songs on AE, but AE song for song is more consistemt, with better rapping, and better beats. My favorite ROTM joints were the heavy soul chops. Stuck To You (which was already a few years old), Bang On Em, The Dough, Represent Me, Stop Frontin...

In order I think by the end of this year I'll feel confident that HNIC > AE=ROTM.

I still have to have HNIC at #1 just because of how much better the rhyming is. There was also a lot of good production on there. Alchemist, Havoc, EZ Elpee, Just Blaze, even Prodigy himself.

I could understand anyone saying ROTM is better than AE and vice versa. It's just what you prefer. They sound very different, but are equally good IMO.

ROTM was cool, i liked it a lot, but people blow it up too much. P does not sound his best on soulful 70's-style beats. Nor is that where Alchemist's style stands out among the average producer. Again, it was a great album but not even near the best effort from either artist involved.

I thought Al's soul chops and loops were as strong as anyone but I agree with everything else.

Yeah...I didn't mean that they were average, but the soul chops aren't his signature sound. still dope but if you didn't know ALC produced ROTM, you wouldn't really know it was him from listening to it...however, Albert Einstein is 100% Alchemist from start to finish as far as his signature sound is concerned..

Regardless...Prodigy's solo Discography >>>>>>>>>> Most Rapper's Careers.
