The preseason is 4 games and a bunch of scrimmages. Then the offseason
RG3 was the best QB in DC during the entire offseason and leading up to the first game
Not Redskins PR speak, but the media who follow and hate RG3 all said the same things
In the first game he looked good vs Cleveland, Garcon dropped a TD pass, RG3 drove us down the field his next possession, got 3pts
In the 2nd game he got sacked 3x and 2 of them was big hits.... THATS IT
And it was the lines fault, he stayed in the pocket. You are overblowing what happened, and ignoring the real problem
As for Kirk, I thought he would be good enough to run the man's offense. He isn't
RG3 I always felt would be the best option, especially once he became "comfortable" in the offense
I think the coaching staff already sees that as well, but had to be sure Kirk wasn't really this diamond in the rough type of player
