Hockey is about to destroy my NBA watching experience...

The Rangers are on every day the Cavs/Hawks are on. Same time. Every restaurant and bar in this city will put the Rangers on. CACs (I try not to use the term too much but I have to here) get all uppity and upset whenever I try to get just one TV put on the ball game when hockey is on. No sound for basketball at all. I may have to just watch at home (and I love watching sports at bars).

NBA ratings are higher nationally but I'm sure within NY the Rangers are crushing

NBA ratings are down this year, except for Lebron. With the Heatles gone, Lakers and Knicks out, KD injured, Celtics average at best, a lot of the marquee teams and players aren't involved. Casual fans aren't really checking for the Warriors, Rockets or Hawks yet

Nononononono. Just no. Stanley Cup Playoffs are the best playoffs in sports IMO, and Game 7s are the pinnacle. And OT playoff hockey? Sheeeeeeiiittttttt.

You know how it is in NY/NJ. Hockey is a niche sport but the stans are out something serious, especially when the Rangers have a very good chance of bringing a home a Stanley Cup this year. They're not trying to watch ninjas jump right now.
